Our client dominates the market for rapid charging systems in public transportation operating on a global basis.
Location
Germany - Hamburg, Munich, or Dortmund.
Requirements/Qualifications
• Obtained a Technical Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical design or engineering.
• Possess experience either as an Electrical Engineer or as a Civil Engineer, showcasing proficiency in electrical systems, power distribution, and charging technologies, which is advantageous.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with familiarity with standards such as IEC 60364, NEN1010, NEN3140, OSHA, and EV charging regulations preferred.
• Demonstrate competencies in leadership, planning, collaboration, and problem-solving.
• Exhibit skills in negotiation, cultural adaptability, and risk mitigation.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required, approximately 25% of the time.
• Fluency in both German and English is a mandatory requirement.
Role & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
• Customize charging solutions to suit individual requirements, taking into account power capacity, spatial constraints, and compatibility with existing infrastructure.
• Create comprehensive Scope of Work (SOW) documents for installation teams, comprising manuals, calculations, and technical diagrams.
• Work closely with Sales and Project Managers, conducting site visits to grasp client needs and propose optimal solutions.
• Offer technical expertise during the quotation phase, collaborating with Sales, Tender teams, and the Supply chain.
• Strategize, assess, and oversee preparatory work to uphold quality standards.
• Coordinate efforts among internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Perform final inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Review engineering documentation to ensure alignment with project interfaces.
• Partner with Project Managers to meet project deadlines, budgetary constraints, and quality benchmarks.
