We are working alongside our client in the Consumer Healthcare sector based in Rothley in Leicestershire to hire a National Key Account Manager.

Our client is a global leader in the Consumer Healthcare space producing and developing specialised Eye care, Ear care, and Nose care products.


Requirements/ Qualifications:

  • Possess hands-on Sales and Account Management responsibilities with 3-6 years worth of experience.
  • Must have experience selling into retailers/ supermarkets or Grocery stores such as Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Asda, Boots, or Superdrug.
  • Must be highly ambitious and driven to succeed at the company.
  • Minimum of intermediate Excel and PowerPoint IT experience and knowledge.
  • Must be very comfortable facing and communicating with customers and handling the channels.
  • High level of proactivity, with self-drive and a hunger to learn and progress.
  • Proven problem-solving & networking skills.
  • Demonstrates high levels of resilience.

Role & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Produce monthly variance to budget reports providing commentary, re-forecasts, and managing a list of financial risks and opportunities for the current fiscal year.
  • Responsible for mitigating risks and realising opportunities with customers.
  • Lead customer range reviews and proactively take opportunities to customers, including NPD, distribution reviews and or promotional recommendations.
  • Responsible for setting up and maintaining Joint Business Plans with key customers.
  • Maintaining maximum service level with customers.
  • Proactively managing any stock shortages to minimise the impact on customers’ sales.
