Mackinnon Bruce International is currently retained with an Industry-leading Plant-based Food Ingredient manufacturing company with a focus on supplying products to the Food, Pharmaceuticals, and Animal Nutrition Industry.
We are looking for an experienced and analytical Financial Business Controller with 5-6+ years' worth of Finance experience in a manufacturing/ production setting. This position will require you to manage a team of 3 employees.
Qualifications:
- Educational background in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics is preferred
- Background within the Manufacturing setting/ environment is a must.
- Familiarity with production processes and KPIs
- Fluent in Italian and Strong English skills (reading, speaking & writing).
- Understanding of P&L, Balance sheet, NPV, ROI.
- Experience working with key senior stakeholders and leadership teams
- Experience in using modern ERP systems (eg. Infor M3)
Role & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Analysis and Reporting on business results: monthly reporting and analysis including Budget Planning and Forecasting activities of sales, costs, and revenues; create accurate quarterly financial forecasts to guide decision-making.
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, aligning it with long-term business goals and objectives; develop cash management process, monitoring, review, and forecast management.
- Support to management in new projects/investments by producing scenario simulations, detailed analyses, and costing and benefits for ROI calculations.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for cost controlling and reduction, revenue optimization (margins/volumes/pricing), and operational efficiency.
