Description

One of my key clients is a company that specializes in providing packaging solutions for the beverage industry, particularly for bottling water, soft drinks, juices, dairy products, and alcoholic beverages. Here are some key aspects they support: Beverage Packaging Solutions, Bottle Design & Manufacturing, Filling & Capping, Labelling as well as complete line solutions. 


Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit several Field Service engineers to add to their US services team. The key duties of the role are to provide service support, install, commission, and maintain the equipment. You will visit customers, set up machines at the premises, and provide training and technical support to their network of distributors. They now seek a candidate who can support mostly their beverage clients, so someone with experience in that environment would be beneficial.


The Candidate

  • A fluent level of English is a must
  • Specialization in auto-mechanic, mechanical, or electromechanical. 
  • Have experience as a Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Technician, either working in a plant or servicing packaging or beverage equipment. 
  • A minimum experience of 2 years is required. 
  • Availability to travel up to 90 %

Role & Responsibilities

  • Test and evaluate equipment performance at the customer plant, based on technical, contractual, and safety specifications.
  • Properly handle, check, and transfer equipment non-conformities.
  • Prepare Job Progress Chart and technical reports in reference to carried-out activities.
  • Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • FAT & SAT.
  • Operator Training. 
  • Perform activities in line with the Standard Operating Procedures, coordination plan rules, and customer rules.
  • Report after-sales opportunities detected on the Customer site.
  • Technical activities, troubleshooting, and reporting deliverables.
  • Report to the Installation Site Manager for team site activities.
