We are working alongside our client in the Civil Engineering sector, based in Maryland, who is looking to hire a Mid-Level Civil Engineer (Civil, Site, or Land Planning) to join their growing team.

Requirements\Qualifications
- Educated with a Bachelor of Science in a related field.
- Minimum E.I.T Certification or working towards obtaining P.E Certification.
- Demonstrable experience in the planning and design of site, civil, or land projects in the United States of America.
- Ability to use software applications including MS Office, AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
- The ability to use software applications such as HEC-RAS WIN TR-20 or TR-55 would be a bonus.

The Role & Responsibilities
This role will allow you to help contribute to the continued expansion of the Civil Engineering practice as well as the opportunity to leverage your skills and experience in a Technical Lead Engineer role.
- Undertake the lead planning and design of a wide range of civil, land, and site projects.
- Acting as the Technical Lead Engineer, this will include the design and preparation of drawings, specifications, bid packages, cost estimates, calculations, and project reports.
- Oversee the review of design work and engineering reports that have been prepared by others.
- Liaise and support senior managers across the proposal stages, including statements of work and pricing.
- Meet project deadlines and specifications, ensuring that projects meet client and internal standards and quality.
- Interact and engage with both agencies and other professional associations committees.
- Undertake field investigations as well as create conditions assessments of project sites.
- Use your technical writing skills to create technical reports, permit documentation, and other such reports and documents related to project work.
