We are working alongside our client in the Food Ingredients sector based in the UK (Wales) to hire an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager.

The client

Our client is a global leader in Specialty Food Ingredients manufacturing and producing Collagen and Gelatine supplying heavily to the Health Nutrition, Pharma, and Food markets.


Requirements/ Qualifications:

  • Possesses technical and hands-on Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager with 5-7+ years worth of EHS experience.
  • Track record of delivering Environmental and H&S improvements within a similar environment
  • Experience in a manufacturing facility/ environment is a must
  • Knowledge of Environmental Management Systems (ISO14001)
  • Possess Health and Safety Management certification.

Role & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • To manage and coordinate all safety activities to provide optimal operating conditions for the site and to make sure the site stays operational.
  • Responsible for and advising on safety-related issues, to provide optimal operating conditions for the site, and to make sure the site operates in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.
  • You will be required to support all areas of the business regarding environmental regulations ensure a safety-first culture, and provide training where necessary.
  • Responsible for assessing and advising on Health & Safety legislation and guidance that may affect the operation of the business.
  • Responsible for setting up a safety strategy and methods to improve the safety process to reduce job-related risks for all employees and third parties at the site.
