We are working alongside a prestigious regular client in the Regenerative Agriculture sector based in York who is looking to hire a Business Development Manager, to help commercialise their sustainable farming services.

Role & Responsibilities

The Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with excellent communication skills and ideally a background or interest in Agriculture, Agronomy, or Soil Science. 

As the Business Development Manager, you will create opportunities through prospecting and networking, as developing project-level B2B opportunities with Senior Stakeholders across the UK.


Responsibilities 

  • Identifying new BD, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships, and projects.
  • Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
  • Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs, and developing proposals to address these needs.
  • Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients.
  • Networking: conferences, shows, and events to build relationships with industry partners.
  • Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them.
  • Developing a strong understanding of the company’s products. 
  • Client relationship management
