Role & Responsibilities
The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager with excellent communication skills and ideally a background or interest in Agriculture, Agronomy, or Soil Science.
As the Business Development Manager, you will create opportunities through prospecting and networking, as developing project-level B2B opportunities with Senior Stakeholders across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Identifying new BD, including new markets, new clients, new partnerships, and projects.
- Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
- Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs, and developing proposals to address these needs.
- Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients.
- Networking: conferences, shows, and events to build relationships with industry partners.
- Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them.
- Developing a strong understanding of the company’s products.
- Client relationship management
