Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic VP of Product to join our client’s leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO and collaborating closely with the Board and CTO, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our client’s product roadmap. This role requires a forward-thinking leader with deep experience in the IAM or fraud detection space within cybersecurity, who can navigate complex market needs, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver high-impact product innovations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the product strategy, design, and development of new IAM and fraud detection products while enhancing existing ones to meet evolving market demands.
- Collaborate with the CEO, CTO, and Board to define the product vision and long-term strategy.
- Build and scale product teams, ensuring alignment with the company's broader business goals.
- Work closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless product delivery, launch, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive customer-centric innovation, using market insights, customer feedback, and data to inform product decisions.
- Ensure strong product-market fit, continually iterating on products to keep ahead of competitors and meet the needs of key stakeholders.
- Monitor the competitive landscape and emerging trends in the IAM and fraud detection space to ensure we stay ahead of the curve.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance product culture that encourages innovation, transparency, and accountability.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a significant focus on IAM, fraud detection, or cybersecurity products.
- Proven experience leading and scaling product teams in fast-paced, growth-stage companies.
- Deep understanding of IAM and fraud detection technologies, including experience working with platforms like Okta, Ping Identity, or similar.
- Strong track record of building and improving complex, scalable products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with executive teams, including the CEO, CTO, and Board, to drive product vision and business success.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
- Experience working in a remote environment is preferred, with a strong ability to manage teams across different time zones.
- A preference for candidates based in California, but open to remote candidates in the U.S.
