Nationally recognised Consultancy that operates in the UK and Ireland across the Water & Environment, Transportation & Infrastructure markets.

This role is a hybrid working opportunity, based out of Belfast, Northern Ireland.
The Role & Responsibilities
This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team and business who are heavily invested in the Water & Environment, Transportation & Infrastructure industries, and have a strong pipeline of both current and upcoming projects across their Ecology practice.
My client is looking for a highly motivated professional, who has a demonstrable experience in Ecology to join their growing team.
- As the Senior Ecologist, you will be responsible for the delivery of ecological solutions.
- Utilise your experience with a wide variety of surveys including bat surveys, mammal surveys, and phase 1 habitat surveys.
- Undertake the creation of planning & marine applications.
- Meet project deadlines as well as meeting internal and external client expectations and standards.
- Undertake visits to the field to partake in field surveys and assessments as well as research and analysis across wide variety of projects.
- Work closely with senior directors and support functions across business development identification and opportunities.
- Mentor and develop junior staff within the team across different projects and project types
Requirements\Qualifications
- Degree Level Qualifications in a Ecological Related Subject.
- CIEEM Qualification or Similar.
- Full Driving License.
- Ability to use field software applications including GIS & MS Office.
- Demonstrable knowledge of both current UK and Irish legislation and policies
