Mackinnon Bruce International, an Executive Search Consultancy across the global Industrial and Environmental industries, are working exclusively alongside a nationally recognized market leader within the Water, Industrial and Process markets, who are looking to hire a Sales Representative to join their growing team in Germany.

Location

This role will be is a hybrid working opportunity, based in Western Germany, ideally based in Koln, Dusseldorf, Dortmund or Gelsenkirchen – other locations can be considered.


The Role & Responsibilities

In the role of the Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the business development sales and customer account management activities.


As the Sales Representative, you will focus on the successful business development and sales activities focusing on a wide portfolio of industries, focusing on the heavy industry and water process chemical sectors – including water process chemicals, steel and metal working clients.


  • Undertake business development activities across Western Germany, focusing on the strategic business development and marketing initiatives.
  • Utilise and leverage your experience across Western Germany, focusing on the heavy industry and chemical sectors – including water process chemicals, steel and metal working clients.
  • Oversee the responsibility of service engineers within the group.
  • Propose sales pricing, economic indicators and potential industry related competitors.
  • Provide technical understanding and support to existing customers across a wide range of products and solutions.
  • Conduct routine analysis as well as preparing service and annual reports.
  • Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to collaborate, analyse and process data.
  • Manage and maintain customer related data as well as internal documentation


Requirements\Qualifications

  • Ideally Educated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable professional experience of in the Sales and Business Development of heavy industry and water process chemical sectors – including water process chemicals, steel and metal working clients.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Excellent Communication skills – both written and spoken.
  • Ability to use MS Office software applications.
  • Valid Driving Licence. (Class B)
