The Client:
I am partnered with a market-leading mesh and steel manufacturer, based in Europe. They produce wire mesh decking and anti-collapse mesh for the warehousing industry, fence and industrial mesh for landscaping, and other sectors. This organisation has a presence across Turkey and the United Kingdom, and they are widening its European presence, by opening into the German and Austrian market.
The Role:
We are recruiting for a Sales Manager to cover the German and Austrian market. The focus will be on mesh decking and anti-collapse mesh for the warehousing industry, targeting profiles with a background in pallet racking, to come in and grow the business commercially across Germany. This will be the first hire for Germany.
- Drive the sales strategy for the German and Austria markets, with a target of 1M€ sales first year
- Present to customers the organisations product offerings, across the German market.
- Prepare prospection plans for potential targets and establish business relationships with prospects.
- Build the technical proposals with the help of the internal teams and sign contracts with the identified prospects.
- Contacting the previous network in the industry, to reestablish relationships and develop new business leads.
- Establishing a large network across Germany and Austria, involving frequent travel.
- Attend trade shows/ industry events in Germany and Austria.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.
- 5 years + sales experience in industrial racking.
- Native in German and English fluency.
- Comfortable working in a customer-facing position
- Willingness to travel.
