Sales Manager – UK & Ireland - End of Line Packaging Equipment


Are you a driven sales professional with a technical background in packaging automation? We are seeking a Sales Manager to support the expansion of our business across the UK & Ireland.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, enjoys developing tailored technical solutions, and wants the freedom to work independently while staying connected to a high-performing international team.


What You'll Do:

  • Develop new business and manage existing accounts across the UK & Ireland
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new opportunities into sales
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess customer needs and lead project discussions
  • Drive the full sales cycle—from first contact to contract negotiation
  • Manage an annual sales target of approximately €3M
  • Represent the company at trade shows, training sessions, and team meetings (UK & Germany)
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth project execution through to final acceptance


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead packaging automation projects from concept to completion
  • Provide technical consultation and process improvements
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and service teams
  • Maintain strong client and supplier relationships
  • Stay current on trends in packaging and automation technologies


Your Background:

  • Technical education or strong understanding of packaging machinery
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the packaging sector, particularly with end-of-line or palletizing systems
  • Experience selling technical solutions, ideally from European manufacturers
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and business development skills
  • Customer-first mindset and the ability to explain complex solutions simply


Location & Flexibility:

  • Home office based (ideally in the Manchester area)
  • Flexible working hours (approx. 8-hour days)
  • Travel within the UK and occasional trips to Germany
