Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Director to lead our North American sales efforts and eventually expand into the LATAM market. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, developing, and leading a high-performing sales team, driving strategic sales initiatives, and meeting regional sales targets. This role is pivotal to the continued growth and success of the organisation in the lubricants and additives industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and implement a clear, long-term sales strategy for the North American market, with future growth into LATAM.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a high-performing sales team to cover the company’s full product line across North America.
  • Market Insights: Lead market research efforts and analyse competitor insights to refine sales strategies and improve targeting.
  • Budget & Sales Targets: Set and manage the sales budget in collaboration with the Manager of the Overseas Business Department and the Global Product Line Director. Develop and meet ambitious sales targets for the team.
  • Cross-Regional Collaboration: Provide market insights and customer feedback to help shape sales strategies for regions beyond North America.


Qualifications:

  • Strong strategic understanding of the lubricants and additives industry.
  • Proven track record of leadership with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, able to navigate and resolve challenging situations effectively.
  • Ability to manage budgets, set realistic goals, and drive performance in alignment with global business objectives.
