A nationally recognized leader within civil engineering heavily invested in the Transportation Civil Engineering industries across the USA. 

Location

This role is a hybrid working opportunity, based out of Indianapolis, IN. 

The Role & Responsibilities

This is an exciting Roadway Engineer role for my client and the opportunity to join an expanding team and business who are heavily invested in within the Transportation Civil Engineering industries. 

My client is looking for a highly motivated professional, who has experience across the design of both Drainage and Roadway projects. 

The successful candidate will contribute to the continued successful delivery of projects across the Roadway & Drainage both locally and nationally. 


  • As the Roadway Engineer, you will be designing both Roadway and Drainage projects, undertaking the calculations, and interacting with Project Managers and other related internal & external clients. 
  • Ensuring the timely preparation of contract documents including PS&E, maintaining project documentation in accordance with requirements and standards as well as ensuring meeting schedule requirements, scope, and budgets are met. 
  • Review and undertake amendments to work/documents, ensuring quality and accuracy. 
  • Undertake geometric engineering design responsibilities, from the initial preliminary stage through to the final design stage. 
  • Work closely with senior staff members on other related tasks. 

Requirements\Qualifications

  • Educated with a Bachelor of Science in a related field. 
  • Engineer in Training (E.I.T) is a minimum requirement. 
  • Demonstrable experience working on Roadway/Drainage projects in the USA. 
  • Familiarity with DOT standards and requirements. 
  • Proficient in using industry software applications including MicroStation, Open Roads, and MS Office Suite.
