The Role
My client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Leuven. In this role, you'll take charge of designing and implementing cutting-edge energy solutions that shape the future.
Requirements\Qualifications
- Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, with 3-4 years in project management.
- Knowledge of renewable energy and experience with complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Fluent in Dutch, with strong French and English communication skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented, with excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Act as the company’s representative with local authorities, municipalities, and media.
- Ensure all legal and permit requirements for urban development are met.
- Guide project design, technical issues, and risk management.
- Lead negotiations on land use with property owners and municipalities.
- Handle compensation plans and coordinate with stakeholders during construction.
- Oversee project planning, budgeting, and selection of external partners.
- Track project progress to ensure safety, environmental, and community standards are upheld.
