As our client continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Technical Partnerships to lead their partnership strategy with technology providers and integrations that will drive our growth.
Job Overview
As the Head of Technical Partnerships, you will be responsible for identifying, building, and maintaining strategic partnerships with technology providers, integration partners, and key industry players. You’ll work closely with our product, engineering, and sales teams to develop collaborative solutions that enhance our identity verification platform and drive mutual business success.
This is a senior leadership role that requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. You will play a key role in shaping our partnership ecosystem, ensuring that our product offerings remain at the forefront of the identity verification industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and establish long-term technical partnerships with key players in the identity verification, fintech, cybersecurity, and compliance sectors.
- Partnership Integration: Oversee technical integrations between our client’s platform and external partner technologies, ensuring smooth and scalable solutions that deliver mutual value.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams to ensure that partner integrations are aligned with business objectives and technical capabilities.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders at partner organizations, providing technical leadership and guidance on best practices and integration opportunities.
- Market Insight & Thought Leadership: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in identity verification, digital authentication, and cybersecurity to anticipate market demands and partnership opportunities.
- Partnership Reporting & Metrics: Define success criteria and measure the performance of each partnership, ensuring KPIs are met and that partnerships drive tangible business results.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing partnerships team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: At least 7-10 years in technical partnerships, business development, or solutions engineering within the tech industry. Experience in identity verification, cybersecurity, or compliance is a plus.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of identity verification technologies, APIs, and integration processes. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security protocols (OAuth, SAML, OpenID, etc.) is highly desirable.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in establishing and growing technical partnerships, including experience working with technology vendors, platforms, and integrators.
- Leadership Skills: Experience managing and developing high-performing teams, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
