As we continue to grow our presence in the UK, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Managing Director to lead our operations, ensuring continued success and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a visionary strategy for the next 5-10 years, focusing on sustainable growth, market expansion, and maintaining Rudolf’s leadership in the textile chemical industry.
- Financial Management: Oversee the company's profit and loss, ensuring that financial targets are consistently met or exceeded. Drive cost efficiency and profitability across all operations.
- Operational Excellence: Manage day-to-day operations, including warehouse management, office administration, health & safety, and overall business efficiency, to ensure smooth and effective functioning.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing UK team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation. Ensure the team’s goals are aligned with Rudolf’s global vision.
- Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with key customers, expanding Rudolf’s network and establishing robust connections with contract fillers and other strategic partners.
- Market Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, driving market presence and positioning Rudolf as the go-to provider of innovative textile chemical solutions.
- Innovation and R&D Collaboration: Work closely with R&D teams to drive continuous innovation, particularly in silicone chemistry and explore opportunities in construction chemicals, enhancing Rudolf’s product offerings and market reach.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Industry Expertise: At least 10 years of professional experience in the textile chemical industry, with a strong focus on consumer applications, particularly in car care and aftercare products.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in silicone chemistry is a must. Experience with construction chemicals is a significant advantage.
- Educational Background: A degree-level education is preferred, with a minimum of an HNC in a relevant field.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven track record in leading and motivating teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional negotiation and networking skills, with the ability to build and maintain high-level relationships.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to evaluate market trends, financial performance, and operational metrics, driving informed decision-making.
