Mackinnon Bruce International, an Executive Search Consultancy across the global Industrial and Environmental industries, are working exclusively alongside a nationally recognised market leader within the Water, Industrial and Process markets, who are looking to hire an Innovation Manager, to join their growing team in Monchengladbach, Germany.

A growing and nationally recognised leader within the Water, Industrial and Process markets. 

Location

This role is a hybrid working opportunity, based out of Monchengladbach, Germany. 

The Role & Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to join a nationally recognised business, who are heavily invested in the global Water, Industrial, and Process sectors. 

As the Innovation Manager your role will focus on the development and execution of detailed & comprehensive innovation strategy that aligns with the client’s vision and objectives. Part of your responsibilities will include the oversight & delivery of the planning, execution and evaluation of innovative projects across a wide range of departments, ensuring that these projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Lead and develop R&D initiatives to identify and explore new products, emerging technologies, and processes to help drive company growth. 
  • Work closely with internal departments & external parties to develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, subsidiaries,s and other external partners. 
  • Explore and identify current and developing market trends, collaborating with the Sales & Technical teams to understand emerging technologies to guide and support innovation efforts. 
  • Develop and put in place key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure innovation initiatives, providing key reports and progress to Senior Management. 
  • Manage and oversee a well-developed and strong high performing team, mentoring and guiding their progress, promoting their professional growth and advancement. 

Requirements\Qualifications

  • Educated with a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (including Engineering, Technology, Business). 
  • Demonstrable experience across innovation management and R&D with a proven track record of the successful delivery of project delivery. 
  • Demonstrable leadership and management experience, managing a team across the Innovation and R&D phases. 
  • Key understanding and proficiency in Project Management including different methodologies and ability to use software tools & applications. 
  • Ability to fluently communicate in English.
  • The ability to speak German would be advantageous but not a requirement.
