The Client

Our client are a global Mining & Minerals company that serve a broad range of sectors. Their EMEA HQ is positioned in Amsterdam.


Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands


The Role

As the Human Resources Manager you are responsible to support and advise the management regarding the full Employee Life Cycle with your hands-on approach. You will advise / guide them with suitable actions and base your advice on your HR professionalism, policies and guidelines, ethics, efficiency, uniformity, timing, budget and legal aspects.


  • You will also be responsible to develop the talent in our business with the annual HR processes, like onboarding, performance management, training needs, annual cycles like compensation along with the COE’s.
  • You will also lead and structure key organizational changes within the sites including effective change and communication management. You will work together & partner with the Business leaders on people topics as absenteeism, sickness management, employment relations.
  • You will be the point of contact for the local works council and drive the engagement process with relevant topics.
  • You will work together with all stakeholders global and local in the business and with the support of your HR colleagues from Total Rewards, Learning & Organizational Development, Talent Acquisition, HRIS and HR Operations.


About you


  • You must be able to speak Dutch to a fluent level.
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Solid understanding of Dutch labor law
  • Experience with Success Factors
