Global Sales Director - Industrial Water & Wastewater
The Director of Global Sales will leverage solution selling methodology to guide his/her team to develop relationships with prospective clients.
Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Build, resource and execute the strategy to double sales volume over the next five years.
- Recruit, train and develop the team to build efficient sales processes and sales channel to deliver unprecedented levels of growth and customer satisfaction utilizing appropriate KPIs to measure individual and team success.
- Build a whole team across the clients companies’ approach and oriented culture of excellence leveraging shared learnings, transparency and success recognition throughout the whole of the business.
- Working closely with Applications Engineers to expedite RFQ and contracts to confirm specifications, terms and conditions and other agreements to ensure firm order placement and satisfied customers.
- Lead the sales team (forecasts, goals and taking ownership of the Sales Department)
- Drive lean internal processes to optimize quality sales interactions with customers.
- Cultivate, promote and guide a Global Sales Team to the market.
- Create regional, prospective and client account business plans in partnership with each Account Executive.
- Lead generation activities to engage the prospect, including trade show and industry conference attendance, calling and sales seminar campaigns in close collaboration with marketing leadership.
- Present solution to the prospect via on-site and on-line meetings
- Provide sales follow-up details and coordinate other staff to assist in making sure the client has all their questions addressed
- Negotiate a commitment from the client and obtain an agreement for services
- Continue to develop product knowledge and industry expertise while mentoring staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering is required.
- A minimum of 15 years’ experience in industrial water, wastewater and/or offshore systems sales plus leadership roles with at least ten years in an outside sales capacity.
- Exceptional verbal/written, organizational and talent development skills.
- Demonstrated successes with Key Account management with EPC’s, distribution and direct sales
- 75% travel anywhere in the world as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA preferred
- Experience is selling direct and indirect in USA and international markets highly preferred
- Functional in using Sales Force, D 365, and Microsoft preferred

- Microsoft Office Suite; ERP systems, ADP, Epicor and/or D365 is beneficial. Familiarity with EPM tools (e.g., Hyperion, TM1, etc.) preferred.
