Our client offers a world-renowned drug discovery engine-built award-winning science enabling scientists to overcome the hardest challenges in drug discovery, allowing their customers to reach results and accelerate overall research timelines. Our client currently partners with most of the largest Pharma companies as well as Biotech, pharma, VC’s and non-profits in the USA, Europe, and Asia. They have laboratories in both Europe and North America.
ROLE
They are looking to continue to grow their presence in North America, therefore we have been tasked to identify and attract a 2 x Business Development Director’s for North America, one for the East & one for the West. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts, as well as identifying new opportunities for growth. The business has approx. multi-millions $ sales in the USA. The split between account management, and new business is 70/30.
REQUIREMENT
We are interested in candidates with +3 years’ sales experience within a Pre-Clinical CRO, ideally with experience in Early-Stage Drug Discovery services with a dep seated understanding of the Drug Discovery process. These positions are home based close to Biotech Hubs in North America, for example, Boston/Northeast, San Diego, or San Francisco. The candidate should be degree educated in a Life Sciences to Msc or PhD level.
