Biographite is a green alternative to synthetic (petroleum-based) and natural (mined) graphite, the raw material which fills the largest portion of a lithium-ion battery. The result is a cleaner, more competitive and more secure raw material to meet rapidly exploding global demand as the world decarbonises.
As their technology can be used almost anywhere there is feedstock, biographite can be rapidly scaled and provide localised production.
$18M in new investment is helping CarbonScape to scale the business and further develop plans for production facilities in Europe and the US.
