Our client is a world leader in the production of beverages with multiple sites in the UK. Following recent internal restructuring in one of the UK sites the business has identified the need to enhance their capability and produce real change. This site is going through a transition phase and they now seek to recruit an experienced operations manager/leader.
Reporting to the site leader you will have complete autonomy for the running of the site operations. As the leader of the operations functions, you will instil a culture of safety, quality and continual improvement. The main focus of the role will be to up weight performance of equipment, manage costs under financial expectations and this provides an opportunity to blow new life into the site. All internal functions will report directly into this position and as such you will be wholly accountable for the site.
Ideally of graduate calibre and having good experience working within the food and beverages environment, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills. We are looking for an individual who is very much values driven towards manufacturing excellence and efficiency, but also has the requisite coaching, mentoring and people development qualities to ensure that the whole site moves forward through this period of transition.
